This is the FOSS advocacy pioneered by one of our professors in Institute of Computing, RSG. And pursued by my classmates and schoolmates. I support this advocacy as to promote the use of Free Open Source Software in different schools starting off with our campus. I think that this campaign aims to promote better innovations for all of us with the advantages offered by FOSS. The emergence of Open Source Software seems to be unstoppable, they seem to be the future as believed by almost everyone or those that greatly support open software. Although, the wide acceptance of FOSS, may not be that instant for some may still contradict to this emergence. OPEN wins!

FOSS...This is great..If our university uses open source software it would be better. No piracy at all and no illegal usage of non open source software. It is not good example to their students using a pirated softwares.
